ROY, Utah, Aug. 30, 2000 - Iomega Corporation (NYSE:IOM), a global leader in data management solutions, announced today that the company's Clik!(tm) line of removable storage products has been re-branded PocketZip(tm), building on the company's equity in the popular Zip(r) brand of removable storage products. PocketZip disks offer low cost, durability, and convenience for a new generation of portable electronic devices, including a number of digital audio players expected to hit the market this fall.

PocketZip(tm) 40MB disks are approximately one-quarter of the size of CD audio discs, are encased in a metal shell for better durability than a CD, store more minutes of music than a CD using the Microsoft Windows Media Format, and are serialized to enable the digital rights management (DRM) of licensed content. PocketZip disks incorporate the same technology as Iomega's award-winning Zip(r) disks.

Iomega will begin shipping PocketZip-branded disks this fall, which will be available for about $10 per disk when purchased in a 10-pack. PocketZip disks will work interchangeably in all existing Clik!-branded products.
