ROY, Utah, September 29, 2000- Iomega Corporation (NYSE:IOM), a global leader in data management solutions, today announced it has signed an agreement with GE-Zurich Warranty Management, Inc., to offer Iomega customers the opportunity to purchase GE-Zurich Warranty Management extended service contracts on Iomega Zip(r), Jaz(r), PocketZip(tm) and CD-RW drives.

Iomega customers may purchase two- or three-year extended service agreements that will provide users with additional assurance and peace of mind for a relatively low cost. The service agreements will be backed by GE-Zurich Warranty Management, a leading provider of such agreements.
