Iomega Partners With Multimedia Contant
Providers For Club Iomega Debut
ROY, Utah,
November 9, 2000 - Iomega Corporation (NYSE:
IOM), a global leader in data management solutions,
today announced television.com, Independent Pictures.
Inc, MediaBay, Inc. (NASDAQ: MBAY), and iball Media,
Inc. as initial partners providing exclusive content
to Club Iomega, the company's recently announced multimedia
content site.
Club Iomega's exclusive media content
site will feature a television.com sweepstakes offering
a day on the Vancouver set of the new syndicated one-hour
show, Andromeda, starring Kevin Sorbo (Hercules), and
created by Gene Roddenberry (Star Trek). Independent
Pictures will provide Club Iomega members with a movie
trailer, interviews and photos from the upcoming movie,
"The Prime Gig," starring Vince Vaughn, Julia
Ormond and Ed Harris.
Next week, Iomega also teams up with
television.com at one of the industry's top trade shows,
Comdex Las Vegas, to launch Club Iomega. Lexa Doig,
who plays Andromeda, will be in attendance at the booth
on Monday, November 13, from 1:00-3:00 p.m. to promote
the new series and sign autographs. Visitors to the
booth can have their picture taken with the star, and
then return to see their photo displayed throughout
the week on the new Iomega FotoShow(tm) digital image
center.

Iomega and MediaBay.com will partner

service through which consumers can access selections

and newsletters. Club Iomega will also offer members
free MediaBay downloads, such as an old time radio adaptation
of "It's A Wonderful Life." For music enthusiasts,
iball Media will offer exclusive audio downloads, webcasts,
and online experiences from a wide range of music genres.
Throughout November, iball Media will be providing select
audio downloads from jazz legends Les McCann and Keith
Anderson, as well as invitations to upcoming webcasts
of leading R & B, hip-hop, and jazz artists.
Club Iomega will allow consumers
to download digital audio content from select partners
to the Iomega HipZip(tm) digital audio player and Iomega
PocketZip(tm) disks.
